Lyonheart Danes has been active since about 1997 when one of our human friends said "you really ought to show that dog." She was talking about Sherman, our first AKC champion, but not our first Great Dane. Many friends had come and gone before Sherman. Their birth dates go back to the early eighties when we learned about the love and heart that Great Danes contribute to the lives of people. You'll meet many of our friends, past and present, here.
